We will show you the beauties of the city of Perth. We’ll travel along St. Georges Terrace, the business district, with its mixture of historical and modern buildings. We’ll see the Old Perth Boys School, Cloisters, and the Town Hall with its belltower. London Court is a shopping arcade in the Tudor style, which we clearly see from St. Georges Terrace, St. Georges Cathedral is the Anglican cathedral. In the Supreme Court Gardens we will see the Old Court House and the governor’s residence. We will travel along the Riverside Drive with its Palm Trees and see one of the latest attractions of Perth, the Belltower. The Swan Bells is one of the world’s largest musical instruments consisting of 18 change ringing bells. Past the W.A. Parliament we drive to the 404 ha big Kings Park. Most of it is still virgin bushland however parts are manicured gardens. We enjoy extensive city and river views with a panorama to the Darling Scarp. The Lotterywest Federation Walkway in Kings Park extends 620 meters through the Botanic Garden including a spectacular steel and glass bridge. It reaches a maximum height of 16m.

We have a look at the Skyline from South Perth. We drive past the mill which was built in 1835 and show you also the home of the Black Swans, Lake Monger.


Another attraction is the UWA, the University of Western Australia, with over 16,000 students enrolled. It opened its doors in 1911 with 184 students in three faculties. Today there are 9 faculties. The 65 ha big Crawley Campus is famous for the beauty of its buildings and gardens and has acquired an international reputation for excellence.

Along the Swan River we are passing through some beautiful suburbs to one of the famous Perth beaches, Cottesloe.

Our next stop is the Sailors War Memorial which is offering us extensive views over Fremantle, Perth, the harbor up to the Darling Scarp. The Fishing Boat Harbor in Fremantle is the anchorage for the 500 ship strong fishing fleet. Cappuccino Strip is famous for its many coffee shops and its Market nearby (Markets are open from Friday to Sunday). In Fremantle we also enjoy the sight of the numerous old buildings beautifully restored.
